As Group General Manager, Treasury, and later Chief Operating Officer for Refining & Petrochemicals, he played a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and refining modernization initiatives aimed at boosting Nigeria’s downstream efficiency and global competitiveness.

Prior to his engagement at NNPC, Mr. Kragha built a formidable career with Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN), part of the ExxonMobil family, where he spent over a decade. His tenure at ExxonMobil saw him take on various high-impact roles across upstream finance, audit, and commercial operations. Notably, he served as Upstream Treasurer for ExxonMobil Affiliates in Nigeria from 2012 to 2015, contributing to critical financial management strategies for oil and gas projects in the region.

Mr. Kragha’s academic foundation is as impressive as his professional portfolio. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Science in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and dual Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration (MBA) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the world’s foremost institutions for science, technology, and innovation.
